About Pagecontent.io

Who writes this site, and how the tool reviews are actually put together.

P

Richard — Founder

I started Pagecontent.io to do one thing well: review SEO tools honestly for small content teams and the people who run them. I am not a twenty-year agency veteran, and I do not pretend to be. What I do is pay for the tools I write about, use them on this site, and report what actually helped and what did not.

That is the whole basis of the reviews here. If a tool is not worth the money for a particular use case, the review says so — telling you when not to buy is the part most review sites skip, and it is the part I care about most.

How we test

Every tool review on this site follows the same process, so you know what the verdict is based on:

  • Paid subscriptions, not vendor demos. I use the tools on a real, paying plan — not a scripted walkthrough.
  • Prices verified at the time of writing. Tool pricing changes often, so figures are checked against the vendor's pricing page when each post is published or updated.
  • Real numbers over adjectives. Where I can show a specific limit, price, or result, I do — instead of vague praise.
  • An honest "when not to buy". Each review names the use case where a cheaper tool, a free tool, or no tool at all is the right call.
  • Affiliate transparency. Some links are affiliate links and may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They never change the verdict — I recommend against tools I am an affiliate for whenever the fit is wrong.

What we cover

The focus is SEO and content tooling for B2B and small content teams: keyword research, content optimisation, rank tracking, link building, technical site audits, and the newer question of AI search visibility — how your pages show up in AI Overviews and answer engines, not just traditional rankings.

Work with us

Beyond the reviews, Pagecontent.io offers content writing and link building for teams that would rather have the work done than do it themselves.
